                                                                                      Catering

                                                                                      1. Do you provide catering for vegetarians?

                                                                                      Yes as a routine we provide a vegetarian option will our catering options.  If you choose our hot buffet simply ask a member of staff and they will provide you with the chef's hot vegetarian option for the day.

                                                                                      2. Are biscuits included in the price of tea and coffee?

                                                                                      Yes, a selection of biscuits are provided with all bookings for tea and coffee, along with a variety of herbal teas.

                                                                                      3. What happens if more delegates attend my event than I was expecting?

                                                                                      If more delegates arrive for your meeting that anticipated we will make every effort to accomodate the extra people.  We will keep track of the extra numbers through our registration process.  However please note that there will be an extra charge for the additional catering.

                                                                                      4. Do you provide catering for special diets other than vegetarians?

                                                                                      Yes, our Catering Manager will be happy to provide you with a meal that meets your requirements.  If you would like to discuss arrangements before you attend an event at ESIS please contact the Conference Manager.

                                                                                      5. Can I request a bespoke menu?

                                                                                      Yes, our Catering Manager would be delighted to design you a bespoke menu to perfectly match you needs.  Please contact us for more information.

                                                                                      Car Park


                                                                                      1. Can I reserve a car parking space?

                                                                                      We have 100 free spaces provided in our car park and they are allocated on a first come first served basis.  Unfortunately we cannot reserve car parking spaces.

                                                                                      2. Do you have disabled parking?

                                                                                      Yes, we have 3 disabled parking spaces directly outside reception

                                                                                      3. Why do I need to give my car registration plate when I enter the building?

                                                                                      We require all users of the building to provide their car registration plate.  As a busy venue we need to ensure that our car park and the surrounding area is managed as safety and efficiently as possible, for example, if a user of the building has left their lights on, this process will allow us to inform them as quickly and easily as possible. 

                                                                                      4. Is your car park secure?

                                                                                      We are able to provide a private off road car park for the users of the ESIS building.  The car park is also monitored by 24 hour CCTV for added security.

                                                                                      5. Do you provide free car parking?

                                                                                      Yes, our car park is provided free of charge for all delegates using the building.

                                                                                      Finance

                                                                                      1. Do I need to give a deposit to secure a room booking?

                                                                                      No, we do not require deposits.  After you have made your booking a confirmation letter will be sent to you.  Please sign and return the form attached to the letter as confirmation that a booking has been made.

                                                                                      2. Do you accept credit cards?

                                                                                      Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards.  An invoice will be sent to you after your event has taken place.

                                                                                      3. I have received my invoice but would like to query the cost.

                                                                                      Please contact the Conference Manager for any queries concerning your invoice.

                                                                                      4. Do you offer reduced rates for charities?

                                                                                      Yes we are able to offer reduced room hire rates for registered charities, please contact the Conference Manager for more information.

                                                                                      Room Hire

                                                                                      1. When do you require confirmation of final numbers for my event?

                                                                                      We require confirmation of final numbers one week before your event takes place. 

                                                                                      2. What is your cancellation policy?

                                                                                      The Conference Manager must be informed of all cancellations. Rooms cancelled in the fourth and third week preceding the event will be charged at 50% room hire
                                                                                      cost and there will be no charge for catering. Rooms cancelled in the second and first weeks preceding the event will be charged 100% room hire cost and 50%
                                                                                      catering costs.

                                                                                      3. Do you charge for the use of IT equipment?

                                                                                      No, all IT equipment is provided free of charge with the hire of your room(s).  However, please note that there is a charge for the use of video conferencing. 

                                                                                      Facilities

                                                                                      1. Do you offer photocopying facilities?

                                                                                      Yes, we provide photocopying facilities in our reprographics room on the ground floor.  We have both colour and black and black and white photocopying available.
