Car Parking at ESIS
As a visitor to ESIS it is our priority that your experience exceeds all expectations. We consistently receive positive feedback from users of the building and pride ourselves on our excellent reputation.
One of the key roles within the ESIS building is the management of the car park. As part of the planning process for the building we closely monitor the number of delegates that we expect to enter the building and put procedures into place when these numbers reach certain levels.
Our car park has 100 designated parking places, including 3 disabled spaces directly outside reception. Our car park is provided free of charge and spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis. However as a popular building these spaces can be taken very quickly, so where possible we urge delegates to car share to ease congestion (please click here for further information regarding our car sharing scheme).
However we inevitably have busy days where we exceed the capacity of our car park and need to put into place alternative arrangements. As a first line of action ESIS staff are asked to park off site to allow as many delegates as possible to access the ESIS car park. You may have noticed a ‘NPD’ sign in the top floor window of the ESIS building, as well as on a sign at the car park entrance, this is to remind staff that this particular day is an off site parking day.
On days where we are expecting an exceptionally high number of delegates in the building our second line of action is to trigger an overflow car park with Makro (please click here for more information). When these days have been identified we will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible of the arrangements through e-mail, twitter and the ESIS website, details will also be displayed on the day in the ESIS reception. As a courtesy and to make your day run as smoothly as possible we provide a mini bus to take you between ESIS and the Makro car park. The mini bus is available all day and only takes a few minutes for each journey. We highly recommend that delegates make use of the park and ride and do not attempt to park illegally or dangerously in the area.
